pnk or Razor, or whatever you want to be called, you're not the right person right here to say what people must to do, don't try to be a poor guy who can't speak english... we both know that you're able to do so, but your agressive way of talk is not appropiate for this forum.

Just figure out that our community lost if you talk with the people aggressively...

Well pnk, I don't care about the logs... but... there's screenshots in other post, and you always use agressive words to everyone, also with people who talk english.

Try to be right when you're talking to someone else.

I'm trying to help the foreing community, I ain't making any fight.

Just figure it out!

See ya guys!

I like this game, and also this great community!!!!

I am just a personal attack is proof 3 post in which 3 are talking about me.

Only encounter repeated lies about my banner in your post and no argument (in this discussion or any other) that can help the project.

There is much to do (music, effects, lasts programming, programming script) however if your post is about how I talk and how I relate even if you or anyone know of my affinity group.

Here is not to reason. find what is best for the project. as it will look better when the other side is a fanaticism that can not be a reason.

And I make the call to dialogue and adult (as many as we are) to an end this constructive discussion.

The rules was made by a Polish person, because of concerns that was stated on forums and in game numerous times.

Any international community needs a common language, English is a usual pick for it. It is simple, lacks of diactrics and most of people speak even a little of it.

And what is that talk about third world thing and the access to education? All English I know I have learned myself - because all the darn documentation was in English and there were no rebels against it.

English is current lingua franca, learn it and you will make your life a lot easier - enormous amount of literature, documentation and inter personal relations will open in front of you like golden gate of heavens.

If I was British, then maybe that stuff about discrimination would have some point, but I am not, so cut it or I will start lobby to make Polish official in game language, and then you will have a problem.

Also it was told gazzilion times we will have channels, so you will be able to make a channel in your language and maintain it, however English will be most likely always the only allowed language on "local" public chat.

Also I don't want to hear moaning about how English is difficult to learn since it differs from one's native language. Actually Spanish, German, Portuguese is a lot more similar to English than Polish which is COMPLETELY different.

Resistance is futile.

Hugs and kisses.

GrinchO

this post isn't for talk about the bad things do everyone, just our topic it for make a better TMW with our opinion, if do you want to talk about all this things, you did choose the wrong post

It is an official rule so it is a correct rule" is circular reasoning. The rules are not set in stone. The server administrators can always change a rule when they think that it is counter-productiv. The rule announcement quoted above even says so.

and here we are again...
this rule and the enforcement of this rule have a negative impact in the quality of the game.
A) if u are having a conversation in a public area with other 10 people, it is easy to lost the conversation in the middle of the chaos of other conversations. now, thats a fact.
can someone tell me why it is consider as spam if someone else speaks another language when all the other english messages in the chat are equally spamming your conversation?
B) does anyone really thinks that if someone comes to me (i.e.) and tries to sell me child porn, in any language i can understand, it'll walk without being reported? I will report that user. BTW, if i do that, the people who owns the servers where the game is hosted is obliged to make a call to the police and give them the IP address that this player use to connect to the game. not sure in which country it is based, but child porn is a crime in almost all the countries.
C) i usually play with my wife and a couple of other spanish speakers in different zones. when a english speaker is present and asks a question, i always answer him. in this case, it is useful for both the fact that we share a common language. ask Master Kenobi if he felt uncomfortable the other day playing with me, Manjes, JoseRoberto, Rodrigo14, idel, Elanor (sorry guys for putting your names here) when teaming to kill Jack0.
my wife plays a lot more than i and she doesn't speak a word of english. well, maybe a couple. but she has played teaming with players from other parts of the world without any issue... sometimes using only emoticons to communicate! awsome. and thats something that could disappear if non-english-speakers get banned for this incoherent rule.

please, im not asking any of u guys to learn spanish, potuguese, italian or russian. i'm asking for flexibility... we should add some patience and understanding too. if we are still here is cause we love the game, isn't that obvious???

Finally someone who makes a sensible approach.

We do not deny the importance of knowing or in the English game or in life. But said Elrrohir not all could or could do. And to deny someone the opportunity to play and be part not to access a specific knowledge is a sectarian.

Not saying that lobbying is only asking the right to cultural diversity and be aware that not everyone can have access to culture. Love that we all had access to culture, but that does not pass.

I think the point is this. plurality not attack you do not agree with me.

Dear platnya no one speaks of conspiracies.

Show only certain points about things that happen in the game.

This discussion is open before Christmas. And I really think you could talk to sensible people. Many people ask us things and no one answered.

Is easier as an adult to discuss closing the post why not say what they want.

And it is Christmas or not

no wonder why the UN still has no use :s

Well pnk, I'm not here to talk just about you... I'm here to help to the great community..., but I disagree how you talk to everyone, I like this game, and if "We" want something better "We" have to act as adult, and use our minds!

And please, stop saying that I'm attacking you.

I don't think that this rule is a great hard stone..., Because we've point to talk in our language...

Like you do, like I do, like every foreing person does, the way to control the great public area is correct, but it's not correct to ban someone just beacuse she/he speaks another language...

So, I'm in the middle.

And the game is great, and the rules, like every rule, are made to control.

Good luck, or open a new server.

125 users connected at once. I think they should ignore my existence and think about the other 123 user?

4 post and 4 is the name of my pj annoying if you both do so much evil to the world why you do not use the MP? that your post does not add anything.

Is very sad. Really hurts me.

And exactly this is the problem.

The server admins can not deal with your report because you can not provide evidence in a language they can understand. You can only send them a screenshot with chat in a foreign language. You could provide a translation, but they could not trust it, because they do not know if you maybe want to frame the person for some personal reason.

So the administrators will be unable to act on your report and thus they will not fulfill their obligation to report the offender to the authorities. In the end this could lead to them getting in trouble, too.

Do you now understand why this is such a big problem?

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Then all it takes is to find a couple of trustworthy people who know that language to find out if some sentence means "O. bin Laden rocks and let's bomb US embassy tomorrow 12.34 am." or "O. bin Laden sucks and I like those cookies they make in US.". If nobody trusts Google translator, that is.
Finding trustworhy translators in conflict situations could be harder than you think. Especially when you do not know anyone of the people involved and their realation to each other. How do you know that the friendly person who volunteers as a translator is not a sock puppet of one of the people involved?

I assume GMs are selected in some way, instead of picking random persons to the position. Why couldn't the magical selection method be expanded on translators as well?

Hi again,

As far as we go, i dont think we go to the place for concensus about free language speaking o not, if we still attacking each other with the same arguments polite or unpolite.

* The main thing is moderation, and we all know for practical reason english is better.
* The non-english moderation can be fulfill with some online translator for the trust purpose.
* The fact is that all the people likes the game and all these people in it makes the game more fun an entertaining, if i wanted to play alone i only simply put a server in my pc and play with it, but its not entertaining (in reply for "put your own server")
* Finally i like the idea free language speaking even if some thought would be for "conspiracy" situations, the most problematic situation i see is verbal abuse to other player non-language speakers.

I hope you all developer and moderator takes these opinions in count to take a desicion on this, we (players) already taken a desicion (at least i have)

Best regards.

See u in the game :S
