Remember that we are all living in different timezones. "At night" is not the same time on the whole world.

...That's what we're trying to do!
We are trying to find a GM from Australia or some other country in a similar time zone...
But it's not that easy to find someone for a job like this, especially because there are not that many players from Australia etc...

From the amount of time I can actually see GMs online, I think you may need more than one additional GM.
Most of the day, there isn't a GM online or at least not visible.
In a perfect situation there should be at least on GM visible at all time. Key word, being visible.
Just my 2 cents.

24/7 GM coverage is impossible without actually paying people.
We could of course give GM rights to an army of volunteers but then it would become impossible to keep an eye on all of them to make sure that noone abuses the gm rights.
In my opinion a few bots do in fact do less damage to the game than a single corrupt GM could do.

That's of course understandable, that's why I said "in a perfect situation."
Still, the fact remains that more than 60% of the time I'm online, I can't find a GM around.
Note that I'm not saying the current GMs aren't working enough, just that they should get some more help.
Also, have you considered layers of GM access rights? Lower rank GMs to deal with spamming and begging which is becoming an increasing problem.
They wouldn't be able to ban people for a long period of time, but their word/screenshots about botting could be taken more seriously.
If that has already been discussed and rejected, I apologise. I just figured it was another possible solution.

Well, Gui and Vhina live in South America, so technically wouldn't a couple GMs from North or South America work? Speaking of which, where's Vink?

With an additional GM in the western pacific region (east asia, australia, oceania) we would cover the globe pretty well.
For language reasons I would prefer someone from Australia, New Zealand or another english-speaking country.

I think the Philipines region may be the best, as it wouldn't hurt to have someone bilingual in both Spanish and English in that region.
