Simplerino contacted me via(supperino) within minutes of being banned. After some discussion I agreed to unban him and lower his level to 60.

I explained, if he is caught again he will be banned permanently with no reset option.

After unbannning Simplerino, I waited for 30 minutes for him to log on so I could lower his level. He never did. Therefore I will ban him again. He will have to contact a GM to lift the ban and lower his level to 60.

Was he botting or not?

If you went throught the troube of banning him, whats the point of lifting the ban?

I've handled his case the same way similar cases have been handled in the past.

He contacted me immediately after being banned.
He explained why he did not respond.
I explained the reasons why players must respond promptly to a GM and he understood.

Because he did not respond within the given time frame but did respond too me immediately after being banned. I made the decision to lift the ban and lower his level a bit as punishment.

He understands that if this happens again there will be no chance of recovering his character or items.
