Bahama's or Jamaica

So many decisions to make, well I am getting married in Oct, and the inlaws are giving us our choice of Jamaica (Montego Bay) or the Bahama's (Nassau). which one is better? I went to the Canadian foreign affairs site and Jamaica seems to have more crime than the Bahama's. Does anyone have any insite as to which place is better? Thanks gang!
