Computer Freezing

I'm not sure how many people this affects, but its annoying to me. Whenever I am playing TMW, if I minimize TMW or open another program while playing, my entire computer freezes and i have to hold the power button until it turns off.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE!
I'm running Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 with SP 2 if that helps

I have a very slow computer, but that never happens to me, I just lag..

My best guess would be to suspect your graphics driver.
