Angerphile was banned for abusing others players. The abuses wont be included there, but others GMs and the devs will know what the ban is about.

As I said, no explanations will be given, but the GMs and Devs will get some.
This is not a discussion forum, remember that.

This is not a discussion forum, but then again, it has rules, and last time I checked, those applied to GMs as well.

It does say he was banned for abusing players aka the "trolling" in the screenshot said by a different player. That indicates what the banned player was doing but not how abusive it was. That's where we have to take the GM's word for it? Since no screen shot is required.. at least that's what I heard.
So is the reason so many people are upset because the banned player was your friend? And a GM happened to answer the "trolling" report?

Actually, the mysterious abuse was using an exploit of sorts to kick the players who were trolling out of the game. Hence the screenshot of the network error.
So, instead of dealing with the trolls (the source of the issue), we have a GM going undercover as a troll to ban a person who's doing what the GM is supposed to do.
*blinks*
Yeah, that sounds about right. But hey, I'm only guessing.

Oh, wow.
Could it not have been a screenshot given to the GM? Not likely, but hey, anything is possible.
But that does sound wrong. It's not a perm ban is it?

Given to a GM from a troll? Why would a GM trust a troll? I find that scenario even scarier.
You misread the screenshot, it said Anger was doing troll relief, not trolling.
But the GM wasn't worried about the trolls since he doesn't spend time in the town and they don't bother him.

Well that's what I meant. Troll relief can still be seen as "abuse". But then you told me the whole situation and where the real problem came from (trolls) and that's where the oh that's wrong feeling came in.
And your right that would be scary.. And this isn't the first case of GM's trying to get players to break the rules so they can do something about it when they feel like it.

Exactly. Hence the rant. And I repeat again, especially considering how big of a problem spamming and trolling became recently.

And I don't think the new spam filter banner machine thing is the answer. GM's should be up to the task and take these reports. Ah.. idk.
