[BAN] DarkDragon for botting.

DarkDragon was banned for botting.
The player was given 2 minutes to respond to my request and failed to do so. DarkDragon was then warped to the BotCheck and continued to attack maggots without replying.
Although DarkDragon did respond after being warped, this was too late and I therefore banned the player.
DarkDragon may ask a GM for a reset in place of his ban.

I have no problem with banning botters. If the bot check map was made to see if someone is really botting, and they answer when they are checked, that doesnt really seem fair to ban that character now does it. what was the purpose of warping him there if he was already banned?
Seems a little odd that this chracter was given the alotted time and responded
Just my opinion and concern

DarkDragon failed to respond within the 2 minutes, I was instructed by the other GM's that 2 minutes had been an agreed amount of time to allow a player to respond.
As far as I am concerned the rules on botting are very clear, if it's not your fingers on the keys, it's against the rules.
I have often sat and watched TV while grinding on monsters, but there are always add breaks to come back to the game, and one eye is always on whats being dropped.
The issue of a broken leg and the ability to get to and from the computer was raised, and I too have RECENTLY had a broken leg, and I had no need for a bot.
Cheers =)

DarkDragon, for what i see your screenshots are not concluant at all. I really think CaptainAwesome took the good decision. Therefor, ask for a reset is your only solution.

I would like to point to:

Why did he get a lowered level (he talked to a GM
after he got banned), while this guy (who talked BEFORE he got banned) got banned?

I think most cases where lvl's are just lowered were quite some time ago and GM's have decided to make it be where there's no exceptions on a case to case basis?
Or maybe there's still a little room for understanding if the player responds right after the ban.

That's correct Goku. The rule is
2 minutes no exceptions. If you can't respond in two minutes, you should not be attacking, period.
