DarkDragon inappropriately banned
This ban report doesn't make any sense. DarkDragon made screenshots and responded. Why did this occur? This is a poor enforcement of the rules. CapitanAwesome needs to unban DarkDragon.

Character even responded to the GM when the GM had the ability to speak with them. This is an unnecessary banning. The GMs must explain themselves for why this character is banned.

Forum readers don't have all of the evidence, but it does look like DarkDragon was banned while he was responding to a GM on the botcheck map.

I think it's because the said player needs to respond within the 2 minutes given and he didn't. After the 2 mins then Captain brought him to botcheck and he replied but it was too late?
Atleast that's what was said.

On screenshot you see him aiming maggot, so he was indeed botting.
I believe that some people have modified their clients, so they will log off when GM will show up on a map.

I have to say that the screenshots were taken by DarkDragon himself. So the attacking you see on the screen is not the botting....

I think it would be easier to tell if someone is botting or not if the time a player is given to respond was more than 2 mins. Didn't it use to be like 5 mins a week ago? Atleast I remember a few weeks ago players were given 5 mins.

If you grep the GM logs for DarkDragon you will see that he has been suspected of botting on multiple occasions:

This log does not seem to interact with the standard chat. No doubt he did all of these things and logged that "Dark did attack the slime", but who knows if any of what he was saying really happened until you correlate it with the chat. Behind the scenes Dark could have been talking the whole time. Is Dark's conversation logged anywhere and can it be placed alongside Captain's actions?
ps. Yes I think he was botting and probably rightfully banned, but there are still holes in the GM prosecution argument

Maybe I responded in too much haste with my conclusion. Madcamel's GM log does help understand the situation more and I appreciate their input.

John P the system isn't ever going to be perfect. These GM's are chosen because people feel they are trustworthy so you have to take there word for it.
They don't even have to post screenshots at all or really any evidence..

goku thats only standards they don't have to they are still expected to doorsman got so much crap for not explaining angers case glad that case is cleared up I knew what it was from day one and i must say way to go setting someone up like that.
