Just a phishing scam. We will never ask you for details in public chat at least. And be wary of giving any out at all.

I immediately detected that, and warned others around me (via /w)- the community seems well alert on these things.

Just don't trust anyone that is asking for passwords. We would never ask for such informations. Also look at this link
http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Game_Masters
That link shows the actual Game Masters. Everyone else that claim to be one isn't. So just keep your passwords for you and al should be right.

Actually I would ask for passwords from time to time. But only if the person asks for a password chage and I am going to tell it Bjørn. Not on my own accord.

Understandable Katze. What i meant is that basically, we wont ask for those. Unless we got serious reasons. Asking like AdminBr did isnt the way we would do it.

Another good check is to see if they're marked as GM on the online list. If they aren't listed, that can be taken as evidence enough, though do wait a bit to make sure it just isn't behind.

eh..... isn't there a big difference to who's is an admin and who is a gm anyway?

Yes, it is. Developers appear as GMs in the online list because they have some additional privileges on the server for testing purpose, but they don't do any actual GM work.
