Ok, I have made a simple cave map. Tell me what you think.

How should I know if it works? That's what beta testers are for. I only coded it.

TomMan71,

I like the style, but can you make it a little smaller, still?

Thanks! :-)

Ok, I'll cut off the top part, but I will keep the river, unless you want me to remove it?

TomMan71,

the north-west corner is a bit too sharp. Can you round it off a little and perhaps add a stalagmite or two? Otherwise this is just what I was looking for. :-)

Thank you!

TomMan71,

the cave shape is good now! I can't see any stalagmites, but it would work without if those are an issue (they were just a suggestion, after all). However, I'm not sure if the river flowing through the open cave mouth works. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it seems to me that the `feet' of that opening are in the middle of the water (not a problem) and stand out as very straight lines (a bit of a problem). Would it be possible to use a larger cave mouth to have the water flow out?

Thanks again! :-)

TomMan71,

perfect! :-)

Can you post the tmx file for this, please?

Thank you very much, particularly for putting up with all my fixup requests. ;-)

Ok, here it is! Can you contact me when it has been implemented in the game as I would like to know.

The forum didn't let me post it as a .tmx, so you can just rename it.
