I know we're going to use the new character set, but is it possible to make it so other people can see you attack by the next release?
Well I have to say that RO protocol is a bit limited, so you will see players only if they're attacking a monster, not if they try to attack an npc, nor if they attack you, nor if they attack the air, a building and so on... (Again this feature will be added when switching to the new server)
Anyway I know you can't always see players attack monsters, again I'll add this feature to the roadmap toward 0.0.14 and someone should add it to flyspray as well
