Here's a question people ask. And it's widely argued and such.
But what came first?
The chicken, or the egg?

It depends on how you define the term "chicken egg".
When another species evolved into chicken, one bird from the chicken acestor species someday laid the first mutated egg the first animal you could describe as "chicken" hatched from.
Do you define a chicken egg as an egg a chicken hatches from or an egg laid by a chicken? When you use the first definition, this was the first chicken egg. When you use the latter definition, the first chicken egg was the first egg laid by the first chicken.

the answer depends on your worldview so there is not point me stating my answer if I state my world view as equally as there is no import of stating any of your answers if you state your worldviews
Sigh so honest I can't be bothered stating my worldview because then people will call me bias even though they are equally as bias because their answers are also determined by their worldviews
"

um what did he just say?" do I hear?

A more interesting question is how the hell evolution came up with the concept of sex being the winning choice for some animals. The answer to that also leads into eggs.

Nature doesn't seek perfection, just workability. Sexual reproduction is superior to asexual due to the genetic recombination involved. Clones are not good for evolution.

If you believe in Creationism then the chicken came first cause God made it.

When people ask this question I usually think they mean "how did the first chicken come about". And that was through an egg like how Crush explained.
If that's not what they mean when asking, then of course the Chicken came before any "chicken egg".
But an egg came first that hatched what you would call a chicken.

Never meant that, just that the inefficiency of the actual act for most creatures around is staggering considering the goal. I guess it has to do with natural selection in the regard of survival of the fittest (elimination is good for the gene pool).

The chicken.
I'm a creationist.
However, from an evolution standpoint . . .
Evolution is slow, and it would have taken many generations for the chicken to become what it is today. Therefore the exact moment when a chicken became a chicken is too blurry to define. Thus, neither came first - the two came together over a period of time.
Edit:
elimination is good for the gene pool
That's what Hitler said. . .
the inefficiency of the actual act [...] is staggering
. . .and that's what she said.

You lose the discussion through invocation of Godwins Law.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
It humurs me to read all your bias answers ALL BIAS everyone

, and so easy to pick. hehehe you stated your worldview through your answer or your answer through your worldview or you stated both but worldview and answer ALLWAYS match
I'll go in alpabetical order through some beliefs
Agnostic - Evolution or ID - Chicken First =\< Egg First
Atheist - Evolution - Chicken First < Egg First
Christian - Creation - Chicken First
Hindu - Creation ID or Evolution - Chicken First = Egg First
Muslim - Creation - Chicken First
New Age - ID or ID + evolution - Chicken or Egg First
there's more but can't be bothered so its simple ok all bias
