Pachua not making stuff anymore?

It's been a while since I last played so I'm a little out of the loop. Did Pachua stop making items or something? I went to go get a leather patch made and He's just talking and not offering to make anything? Is this a known issue?

you have to activate the steel shield quest at the blacksmith in hurnscald.

I thought that I had already done that, but it must have timed out or something. Thanks for the info!

Ask the blacksmith where you can get leather patches.
