to cast a spell for dummies

Hi everyone, I'm new to this and have to admit I got banned .

I got banned while trying some spell (#itenplz) and misspelled it several times.

My real question is, when I am casting a spell these colorful bubbles appear around my character and in the talk bubble above his head the spell is written, so can everyone see which spell I am using? I have other people seen using magic (so I saw the colorful bubbles) but there was no chat bubble above their head.
Is this correct or am I doing something utterly wrong?

It's fine, its just the server telling you that you've casted it.

Automatic bans for spamming only last an hour. If you say the spell right, others around you won't necessarily see the invocation.

Yes, but don’t you still need to find the trainer to advance in the magic type anyway?
