I can't stay logged in for 5 minutes without being disconnected. And then when i log back in, i keep logging back into the same space i was when i logged in last time (even though i moved somewhere else)

Got a couple errors about not having a server available, also, after I select my character and click okay

The server is under a new kind of an attack.

This will go away after either the attacker gets bored or we fix it.

We would not have an issue if it would only come from one IP instead of hundreds or thousands of IPs. DDoS, not DoS.

Unfortunately these days renting botnets is cheaper and cheaper.

Also this time it is more severe than simple bandwidth filling flood. We've isolated the problem and are working on a solution. Hang in there.

What I don't understand is anyone with the resources or knowledge would attack a free, non-commercial MMO that has so few players...

So far two reasons have been apparent. Either they have been pissed because of a ban or then they've done their own fork which has not been popular enough for their expectations.

Of either I do not have any proof and I'm not thinking of anyone. These are the only two reasons I can think of while putting on my black hat... (Oh well, phising out username/password combinations and hoping someone uses the same information on something like PayPal... But that's a rather black hat.)

It seems that lots of people get pissed and take it out on ManaWorld. Or their are a lot of people who are just a**holes...or maybe both

In real life mostly both.

Can always count on Matt whom I have dubbed the king of sarcasm, no matter how gloomy the situation he will come up with something to make us laugh. I should not encourage you Matt but fully intend to!!
