spawn rates

Hello All
I was in the skull room today, and noticed a heated arguement between two players.
I can't help but wonder if there is a direct relationship between the number of lowered "high
xp spots" (with the lowered spawn rates) and this heated arguement.
If this is the case, can we not bring back the old spawn rates of snakes and slimes back?
We have a great GM team in place to enforce all botting, and the rest of us that play the game
with honor truly miss these spots, if for no other reason than it gave us an alternative place to
go when things get crazy.
Please consider resetting the spawn rates?

I don't think they did it just because of botting, but because of camping? Instead of what you proposed they should take away the Skull Room camping spots and make everyone wander around.

But no one wants to wander around. They want to fight huge hordes of monsters, like in the cave to the JackO's.
It's more fun doing that then chasing down individual monsters.
I agree with Prsm. Botting is hardly a problem, esp with the frequency of server disconnects these days. A bot couldn't stay online anyway.

You really consider that fun? Standing in one spot?

Goku , i respect your opinion!
i do find it fun standing in a stack conversing with others, but it is not all that i do!
I also travel around and search for items, but i prefer the choice to be mine, thats all.
can you understand that?

How about this:
Instead of putting the spawn rates back like they were, we do a few things:
1) Make PvP a very attractive option for leveling up by giving large XP bonuses to a PvP kill
2) Have another leveling option for people who don't like PvP (such as the monster-points change I suggested in the Feedback/Suggestions forum)
This makes camping obsolete while making the game more fun. There is no need to worry about people leveling up any faster either, because people will spend less time overall leveling up, which also means that people will be doing other, more game-enriching activities such as merchanting or questing.
Another idea that would compliment this (although this doesn't sounds like it may beed to wait for TMWServ to be finishedl; idk): Add player hunger. If you get hungry, you need to eat something otherwise you won't heal. This means that players will need to gather food before going to train unless they are fighting monsters with food drops.

some day we'll have
...
mobs
places
weapons
etc
etc
for high level players
90+
...
until we get that, imo, we players of 90+ and all the players that want to go for challenges in a fighting spirit need and want places where they can fight, talk (at the same time or not it is their choice) and get some good xp.
when i arrived there were ... 0 lvl 99 to enter in the top level players you needed to be 85 or something liket this
have a look now please...
and give tmw what it needs
(not a judgement or an attack. don't feel offended because there are no offense in my words)
solutions ? go back to the mountain snakes as they were ?
new areas, maps with jack0s around or new mobs
well
i'll be waiting to reed your positions and statements ideas on this
botting is no issue GM do their best and they do great
camping is no issue too as it will deseappear itself when diversity is here and players from any level can fight not parked into the one or 2 places where now you can get exp
cave cleaning sorry i am getting bored of the same cave with the same mobs
but i keep on going fighting the same way i did before
so cave cleaning, jack0, skull room, hunting for my item collection, helping people that deserve help not does that beg for help and annoy, playing, fighting having greats moments with friends there. and learning too.
Best regards to you all

The camping part isn't the fun part though is it? And I never accused people who camp to not do other things, i'm just saying it's not fun. I tend to do it at times, but I never found it "fun". Maybe conversing with friends is the fun part, but you can do that sitting down?

Well, that's your opinion. I personally have fun camping and chatting or reading other people's convos. Though, I also have a mage now which is a lot more fun to train with on skulls.
However, I do agree that there should be an option to have fun with combat rather than with chatting

You basically said the same thing? Camping isn't fun, you're just having fun while doing it because you are also conversing with your friends. That's the fun part.. which can be done without camping.
