GMs shouldn't be here to settle disputes between players. This power should be taken from them immediately. I also think the admins need to remove the GM power to moderate this particular forum because they consistently abuse it in a draconian manner.

Why not? That quote violates rule #1 as well as the scamming rule the GM's decided on..

Well, forgive me that I missed that TMW is a game now that you play in kindergarten - I guess this is where words like "pig" and "cow" are swearwords - and I doubt even that.

My point is not that the GMs are bad but that they cleary following the rules too strictly - how is that supposed to be a fun game without a dark side, or that you have to fear with every sentence that you may have insulted someone when talking about your pets...

GMs shouldn't be players, and at the very lest shouldn't be the char they play on!

Gouki, both doorsman and Delasia were player enemies of mine before becoming GMs. I've given them both the benefit of the doubt that they could behave within the role of the GM without bias. Doorsman's actions have been reviewed by me in the past because of his underhanded attempts to get bans on players while Delasia's attitude is condescending and she attempted to provoke a ban on me before.

There is no reason Delasia should force bans on players because they insult a GM or aren't remorseful for getting into an argument with another player. Sugarcorgit has complained to me before that Doorsman has been trying to find some way to get her banned, I find these witchhunts to be unacceptable.

Let me and Sugarcorgit, guild leaders, decide how our etiquette is determined and the GMs go back to botchecking and other similar technical abuses. Me and Sugar disagree on how we should approach non-English in public areas, our member roster would reflect on how we behave in the game, should our members find our attitude or the attitude of our guilds to be unacceptable. Pressing on player bans when people can use the ignore feature is unnecessary nonsense.

You should be grateful for our current gm system, Platyna would have banned you without any comment.

All I have to say on the matter is that GM's shouldn't have to be babysitters. I don't blame them at all. I blame the small handful of players who constantly whine and cry over every little thing posting screen-shots and "evidence" of some ridiculous matter. If certain people would let their balls drop the GM's wouldn't have to waste their time on such matters and remain focused on more pressing matters.

Bottom line is the GM's are just doing their jobs trying to accommodate all players. It's the lil' cry babies who are abusing the system.. "WELL IT"S IN THE RULES" when in most cases it's some minor bs that the player could just ignore and walk away from. Sooner or later I think the GM's will just get fed up with these players anyways and kindly tell them to piss off.

I have to agree that being banned for calling someone a pig is ridiculous. I mean, I see people use serious curse words in the game all the time and they don't get banned.

But I think the issue was that sugarcorgit then insulted doors publicly. Certainly he was the wrong GM to send in to investigate as sugarcorgit and doors already didn't cooperate, but I think the issue is totally blown out of proportion.

Calling someone a pig isn't that bad. Let's leave that little thing alone and starting getting rid of all the trollers and people using curse words:

Is this addressed to me? If so, Platyna wouldn't of banned me because I follow Platyna's rules. I'm actually arguing for status quo. It is these new GMs that are attempting to enforce the rules in a stricter fashion.

A good portion of the new GMs are very rash. MasterKenobi, Vink, and CapitanAwesome would never make such bold and quick decisions, especially for such a low-level insult.

Calling someone a pig... I could see a warning at the highest, but a week long ban?! Now that's just ridiculous.

Iam not actually actively playing since a long time, but it just makes me wonder why people would like to spend their freetime time "solving" "problems" like that. If that happens in reallife your mother just would tell you "bear with it", "solve it yourself", "be nice to other people so they are nice to you" etc.

Iam not a big fan of banning botting, but your overlord lady decided to make it a rule, so please lovely GMs stick to banning bots, banning players who say racists things (which arent supposed to be funny but supposed to be hurting etc), well real problems this game could have!

The GM's are currently discussing this very issue, please give us a little time to work things out.
