After how Jaxad0127 was an asshole to me in #tmw-offtopic, I've decided that I'm leaving for good.

I've banned Jaxad0127 in that channel, and if Bjørn wants to unban him, then he may certainly do so. Bjørn does have founder access in that channel, afterall.


I must say that I am quite disappointed by Jaxad0127's attitude. I called him out on how he said that he was no longer commenting on art, but still requested a new frame to be added to an existing piece, and he fired back by saying that, because I do not code, I have no right to report bugs or post things in the support section.

Well, if that is the case, then I suppose that we should not let regular users post in mantis anymore, no?

Towards the end of the conversation, I asked for an apology for him "sarcastically" requesting new art. He refused, and kept posting links. I then also said that he's never apologized for his actions, and he then replied with a "[citation needed]".

Then, things got pretty heated, flames were shot around, and I banned him from the channel. If anyone in the channel would like to post a log, please do.



If this is the way the developers treat their users, then I certainly want no part in this parade of arrogance.

I may read the forums every now and then, but I will no longer play the game, report bugs, help people, or post new contributions.

If that's the way you want to do things, good riddance. I only said those things because of the way you were acting, and I using your own logic (I'm not an artist, so I can't comment on art -> you aren't a programmer, so don't comment on our code). Art isn't that special. The average human knows what to expect things to look like. And I am working on my own art contribution.

By your logic, only artists should have access to the art forum. And since thats where all new art goes, no new artists.

But that place is public, which means art posted there is open for commentary by anyone. So you can't put art there.

But artists need to show their art. And you only want artists to even talk about art. So it needs to be a place for only artists.

I'm sorry to laugh, but seriously, by quitting playing the game..."oooh, that'll get 'em!" That really is kind of funny. I don't think that by quitting doing something fun, you are "getting" anybody but yourself. If you and Jaxad are having such problems, do you really think that by disappearing in-game is going to make him hurt? Like he said, "good riddance." (his words, not mine. I really don't know you.) Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Oh well... goodbye then. But might I just say that being able to spell doesn't make you automatically able to code, and knowing what things look like doesn't automatically make you able to art.

~My advice: don't leave the game. Jax couldn't care less - in fact, he's glad you're gone.
