If you had read the announcements and sticky threads explaining the purpose of the Court house and how to report, you would have known that irrelevant posts are moved or deleted, or the topic locked.

Now concerning your complaint:
When people are punished, the severity of their crime should always be taken into consideration. Speaking other languages is not considered to be nearly as serious as for example botting. That's why a warning is often considered to be enough.

I do agree that constant announcements reminding players about this rule should not be necessary, though. If it's done to save time (not having to address each one of these players in a personal manner), perhaps it would be better to use some feature to send a quick reminder about the rules to the players in question, so that other players won't be disturbed?

I think that is the stupidest rule in the game, people shouldn't be stuck to the english language no matter how much i hate the other languages, it's still a bad rule. They should have the freedom to speak the language they want.

The title of this thread... hum... is quite irrelevant.
It's like if you were saying "only french speakers should be banned".

Here we go AGAIN! Another debate on Rule #5!

Jeanmarc and WARD are indeed speaking "french" (understand : SMS-french) all the time, and even in town. They have been reported once by DarkLord. This very report led to another debate about rule#5 in this topic. To end this debate, Katze posted a link to another topic to explain the rule again, and why it won't be enforced.
It wasn't the first debate on it and it won't be the last one .
Jeanmarc and WARD are annoying? Indeed they are. And don't blame the TMW Francophone community for that. Please ignore them.
When i see someone speaking Spanish, Russian, Polish or German instead of English, i don't feel like i'm being insulted, or like i'm in front of a criminal. you will see that sometimes tolerance can solve issues.
Starting to ban people for such reason would be inapropriate, disproportionate and liberticidal.

• 1 : it's the language my mother (hardly) teached me ...
• 2 : most of my funny jokes (all of them in fact : 2/2) are french ones !

Why exactly do you hate non-english speakers so much?

I also consider it rude to speak a foreign language when you are in company of people who don't understand it - online and in real life - but the only argument I read so far is "It is a horrible crime against humanity because there is a rule which says so".

It doesn't bother me when people speak other languages. I don't care much what they are saying anyways. But for the sake of argument I was under the impression the server is intended to be an ENGLISH server (am I wrong?) and I am sure there are other servers out there for other languages.

I think Banning the French language is a great Idea and should add this list of words to the auto-ban.
