I have opted to ignore him. I'd like GM intervention if he continues to address me in this way. As ruled on "Inspector Shameless", constant abuse in the forums can result in a ban from the game.

This is not a GMs only case then since we are not the moderators of any forum but the Court House.
And: did UberKalimero get a ban in game for "Inspector Shameless"?

I have spoken with Amun about this conversation, and its inappropiate nature.
He has assured me that he will not continue the abuse
He understands to do so could result in further action by the moderators of this forum

Wombat: since the person your last post was about does not agree with it, I deleted the post in question.
To make something clear, I need to say however, that Uber did in fact not receive a ban. Sorry Uber to mention you again.

I am content with this ruling Katze. After speaking on IRC about this, I do hope that forum administration can encourage less needless flame wars that keep appearing on these forums. I will address this more in the Player Talk forum. I also agree that the forum administration should handle forum matters.

If you don't want GMs to handle it, keep it out of the Court House since this is the GM's forum.
Click the 'report post' button instead to complain about forum posts and the forum administration will handle it.
This is how its done. Request thread lock unless someone has anything to add.

Because of the "Inspector Shameless" ruling, I figured it was necessary to file a complaint about forum abuse here. After talking on IRC, I found that this was not the case and that forum administrators would handle it, which I agree with. Feel free to private message me in the future to clarify something to me. However, it is good to know how to report posts and I thank you for the added information.

You are right.
Request: Add a sticky to Court House like this:
Subject: 'Forum Abuse - how to report'
Body:'
Forum abuse is normally not handled by the GMs but by the forum administration. If you want to report a post please use the little button looking like this

- icon_post_report.gif (1005 Bytes) Viewed 2931 times
located in the lower right corner of all posts.
Thank you'

and now Wombat playing the victim

funny

new tactic ?
if all the people you insulted, provoqued and push away, kicked aside from your way because they diseagred with you on how the game should be
if all the people you blessed in your good intention did a report "Wombat abuse" we should have a new block in the forum
Wombat you are getting old
Regards
no no i don't feel the trol and anyway This is not a discussion forum !!

Request to lock this thread.
A point of clarification to Jumpy: Many people would prefer that the forum flamewars be less of an occurrence. I am taking steps to avoid being drawn into them so I can concentrate my thoughts and efforts in a more constructive manner.
