From a paper I wrote for class
"No other animal is as bombarded by images and as brutally exposed to the ideas of others than modern humans. This appears to be the inescapable nature of human existence, to be indoctrinated into various ways of thinking, existing as a group consciousness rather than as individuals. Advertisement is the insidious reminder of what we should be doing, what we should purchase, whom we should vote for, and what we should believe in."

everyone around me keeps telling me my lifestyle is wrong and I should live as they would have me live

MIRABELLES

My weekly post is about : "Mirabelles"

Mirabelle is a nice fruit you can find in French country-side.
His taste is mildly sweet, and it can be used for cooking or baking purposes.
Image
It can be considered by many as a mindless living creature without any dangerous behavior toward humankind.

Please feel free to post your cooking or baking propositions concerning "Mirabelles" inside this topic.

Next week post should concern "Prunes", another unmalicious friend : stay tuned !

I'll miss Kalimero. He was a colorful character and I do hope he'll reincarnate somehow in a less obvious form :) Too many people take themselves way too seriously (no, this is not an attack against anyone) and he was a breath of fresh air sometimes. At least for me he was.
