First, I am a lesbian, I have been all my life. I am happy married and have a wife both in the real world and in the game.

So imagine my surprise.
Now to me, this is just silly, I have never been with a man nor ever want to.

But if this jerk tries that on my little sister (who is 15 and straight) and I will turn his bones into dust.

In the UK, United States, and most of Europe, solicitation of a minor for sex over the internet is illegal. "I am not a minor, but that does not matter, I could have been, and as long as he though I was, it is illegal."

It is a crime punishable by at least 3 year in prison.

There is no current law on the books that bans this behaviour, In the mana world, but let us not let TMW be a place for people to pick up children.

I can see it now, "To catch a predator, dateline." "The Mana World: Fun free game, or play ground for sexual predators."

The last thing we need is to have some people running round sexually harassing people.

And this is not the only one.

Sadly in any community that allows people to communicate this issue will undoubtedly come up.

I am sorry for this, but other then banning people who do this, nothing else we can do.

As for your sister, maybe you or her mom should monitor her activities so something like that won't happen to her

Dark Water, it is unfortunate that people are like this in game as well as the real world. should I see this char online i will have a talk with him to remind him of the boundries.
He was very close to crossing those boundries but I dont believe that the law would persecute on that conversation. IMHO

If this should happen in the future, in order to take any doubt away about this being harrassment or not. State the obvious and be very blunt.
"I am gay, I am married, and I am not interested.Period"

If he continues, then it is without a doubt abuse and harrassment and can be dealt with as such.

Unfortunately Kage is correct as far as what we can and cannot do. But we will follow thru as much as we are able.
