Well you see the mac version doesent let monsters drop items so i cant do any quests!!!! can i get someone to get me 30 bug legs and i think its 5 Red scorpion stingers please i can kill them but they dont drop nothing

Please help me out

you sure it's your game version? i somehow doubt it... the actual game logic is system independent. also, the fact if monsters drop something or not is even calculated by the server, so there's *no* way it's your client's fault.
the overall drop rates are pretty low, try killing maybe 40 maggots and see if anything item turns up. yeah, it takes a while to get the stuff, but at least you get some exp this way...

yeah my luck is 11 and i killed mabby 100+ maggots allready (lvl 19) but still no luck my friends who train with me see them but not me...

luck has nothing to do with it (it's used for stuff like "chances of landing a one-hit kill"). 100 maggots and not a single item *does* seem weird though, and if your friends see them i think you're right after all... well, that's bad luck
i might have a few bug legs left, and i'm positive i have enough red stingers; i'll get back to you when i play some more, unless somebody else beats me to it.
that wont fix the bug though; have you checked if you've got all the needed resources? items are in <your tmw dir>/data/graphics/sprites/items.png; if it isn't there maybe the mac installer/game package is screwed.

I've checked a the source code if we missed to add the conversion code for mac packets, but it's there so it should work as in Windows and Linux. If you're the only mac user experiencing that, maybe we could try to debug what's wrong.
If other mac users have the same bug please report it.

well, that sucks. you know, as long as it ain't fixed you could use wine (not sure if it does run on mac), virtual pc or whatever to run the windows version.

Wine can't work with other plattforms as i386 or compatible.

nah i could use a short sword but not now wait till the new mac bianary comes out so i can start playing full time thanks anyway (btw dont give them out to noobs lol save them for me)
