We had to deal with TWO grassies runnng around near the enterance...now that was fun

That was not a spawn. It's Auldsbel's transmutation. When you bring him 50 grass snake tongues he gives you 100k XP, some cash and summons 4 grass snakes very worried that he just stepped in another school of magic's territory.

Case closed.

Nope I loved it...was fun running around dodging the snakes...

Course I bet you werent around when we had black scorpions and regular snakes in the pass between tul and hurns either...now that made it really fun...had a chance of dying trying to get to either town

I remember the first time I went onto that map: I died before I knew what hit me — seriously, as soon as I was through the door. It was a long time before I even found out about Hurnscald; I didn't figure it'd be possible for me to get through. (Those were the days? )
