Hi,

any further progress on the archer? The most recent sprite is mostly solid (except for the bow outline and the clothes' shading), but the pose isn't very exciting.

It doesn't have to be as fancy as Don's knight pose, but some slight variation as in the following might make it more exciting already:

(Note that the bow isn't fully outlined in that picture either.)

Hi,

nowhere as interesting as Don's knight, but that knight would be hard to top:

Any thoughts?

I may have overdone the alphaing of the bow in some parts, in particular, and not left enough contrast for it.

It looks good fate! :) I especially like the non-MPS0 pose (as you coined it) and the hair.

As for the bow (it’s at an angle/rotated, hooray!) and the hand holding it, I see nothing wrong with it from a grip-point of view, though as the (pixels of the) hand does not extend on the outside of the bow it looks like the hand is phasing through the bow. A minor detail to me, but maybe what SpamMaster sees as holding the bow from the inside?

Good work!

Smallprint: Personally the eyes (and head?) are bit on the too big side for my individual taste, but I’m only mentioning it with a tiny font size, so disregard this comment as anything useful.

Hi,

thank you for the feedback! :-) Here is some fine-tuning to address some of your concerns:

I've tried to desmudge the bow, adjusted its shape a little bit, and gave it a darker outline. I also tried to improve the right hand a bit.
