In latest patch version exist bugs from main line client.
For example client crush if you near invisible npc. This places near katze, arena, skull cave. may be other.
Client will crush if some one leave party.

This bugs and some other will be fixed in next version.

PS: But if you find other place or action, where client always crushing, write in this topic.

That was fixed in mainline a while ago.

i've found a serious bug in this newest version, i'm attaching a screenshot for ref. all my windows appear to be shredded in tiny vertical strips. i have a dell inspiron 1545, running windows xp sp3, latest drivers (just installed.) it's worth noting that i can uninstall and go down a version, and it's fine.

Toggle OpenGL. It's a bug in Mana. We have no idea why it's happening yet.

I added the mana karmic main thing to my list of repositories, and the 4144 package is present in my list of packages in Synaptic, but nothing happens when I install it. It says it's installed, but my client is just as usual. What have I done wrong?

Uninstall TMW then install 4144.

No. I think it'll only let you have one or the other installed.

Try install client in empty dir, not over old client.
And try switch themes classic or (default).

Try run Applications \ Games \ Mana
