Its so sad that in America we force people to learn Our Language instead of learning others .

But in Norway ,Holland,France,Italy,Spain,Germany,

and a few others I have not posted at school they are required to learn at least 5 different Languages before Passing.

I love the French Language . I know a little German ,Spanish,Norwegian too.

5 different languages? Never heard of a school here in Germany which requires this. English is compulsory as a first foreign language at all schools. To get the best school degree you need a second foreign language. Most schools offer two or three additional foreign languages to choose from, but none I ever heard of requires to learn more than one in addition to English.
But what's the point of learning other people's language? The OFFICIAL language of the USA is English, thus those wanting to stay here.. shocker! You guessed it! Must learn English

It's the same here in the UK. We had to learn French or German in secondary school, but everything I learnt I forgot very soon after I stopped classes. Now I'm trying to learn German so I can take a gap year there.

On a note more related to the topic - why would you want a 3D chat room? We have chat seamlessly integrated into TMW already!

several server one for each langage...

nevermind

i was just calling the attention to this chat system within a 3d world (map is huuuudggggeeee...) and it is in development.

graphics are great
lots of bugs inside on tiles but really a great realisation

Regards

edit: feline i am not willing to have a 3D in game
i am just showing what is done on 3D for a chat serv that is starting to develop and is entering new issues. Graphism is great.

Not at my school. It was totally optional. But what I did like is we had two world history classes, but I don't remember learning much about our neighbor's in Canada.

I faintly remember a 3d chat system I used to frequent like ten years ago. The idea is pretty old. One room even had a first person shooter integrated. Unfortunately the company went bakrupt years ago.

And there is of course second life which is behind all the user-generated fluff still just a chat system in it's core.
