Reduced defense on items

Why has the defense been reduced on the Warlord Helmet? It used to be (+25 / +18%), and now it's (+18 / +18%). I don't know if this has happened to the Crusader Helm or any others, but I prefer the +25 defense.

It was done when shields were added.

Unless you're talking about something other than leather, wood, and steel shields, it wasn't. I've had a wooden shield and a warlords helmet with +25 defense until today, when it got set at +18 today. It was at +25 yesterday.

Those defense values were reduced over a year ago. Looking over the git logs, while the values were changed in most places, the defense attribute in the client db wasn't. That was corrected in the latest update.
