How come i was banned?

I went to go get something to drink then came back and lost connection. After i logged back in it said i was banned.

From the logs this month:
Sometimes if you are talking and it lags, all of your messages post at once and you are banned for 1 hour. You should be able to log back in, in a while.

Botting is doing anything while away from the keyboard. For example, you get up to get a drink, and because you are fighting, leave your character attacking while you are gone. If a GM comes by and talks to you and you do not respond in two minutes but continue to attack, you will be banned for botting. Gotta be present to play.crz17 wrote:What is botting?

before i got up to get something to drink i was practicing my magic... #kalmurk and #abizit right after visiting the mana stone and went south and sat down. ever since i logged in late last night i didnt talk to anyone but nPcs .... im still not understanding why i was banned.... .....oh well....

really cause thats what i was using before i left magic and only magic. I didnt know you could get banned for using magic.... and i was told that i was banned for chat spam... as said in some of the entires above... ..... im confused .... how can using magic get you banned?

Spells don't count as chat. After you've cast a spell, there is a cool down period. Any thing you cast during that period doesn't count as a spell, and so counts as chat.
