Well i found that if i attack a flower and hit it if i walk away out of its reach and wait a few seconds then attack again it wont fight back and then after a while it dies.

yup this is the clever way of developers trying to teach you tactics.

i preferably use flar on those flowers

Me too, Zendet. Cast "Aggravate Monster" next to one and run, so it only hits you once. Then go back to it and it won't attack you. You can attack it, cast "Aggravate Monster", whatever, and it won't hurt you.
