I've only been playing for a week, so still quite a noob.
In the status window, in the second line, there is an item Job: that says 0
Two lines down, there is a job: that says 20299/20300
It seems stuck here. Is it possible to get it higher?

job level are a left over from ragnarok which we don't longer use, maybe we should remove the display for that in the next version of the client.

We could, but I think fate would like to use them for something else. The next version of the client is more flexible here, so we could have it shown for some servers and not others. Or only show if there is information to show (level, exp > 0).

yes. My next TODO item will make use of the job experience / next job level experience / job level points / job levelling-up mechanism. (In fact, the eAthena part of it is implemented already, though I have yet to make sure that the job-point getting works `as advertised.')

so what does this mean how do i get skill points? so i can't advance?

I'm pretty sure this relates to your focus skills. Learn a focus skill and use skill points to raise that.

It stucks because you don't have any focus skill to raise. You should learn Focusing skill (if you haven't got it), then learn a focus skill. At your level you can learn Resist Poison, Brawling, Astral Soul and Raging skill. When you get level 50, you can learn Mallard's Eye. Last one is Speed skill need higher level

Most experienced player will learn the "brawling" skill immediately at level 35, even though it's useless, *just* so that the cap for job exp is increased.
