28 years ago I was walking in a field when I noticed a ring of stones. Next thing I know I'm getting my fortune told by some gypsy at a fair then it's kinda all black.

I was distro-hopping and landed on Arch. I was searching through Arch's package manager for games and saw reference to TMW. My original intent was to find 1-player games, but as a F\OSS addict and fan of retro games, I decided to try it. I'm still here almost half a year later

Through the Full Circle Magazine (
http://fullcirclemagazine.org/). Your game mentioned in the issue #76. I love this game, why? Because it runs on a slow connection.
Also it has a good graphics and nice community too.

I used to play a game by the name of Endless Online. After that game ran into serious issues with lack of development and hackers galore I looked around for games that reminded me of it. TMW happen to be such a game. I might have found it on sourceforge (because I used to use that site a lot) but I can't say for certain.

The Mana World lives in Fedora Linux's standard repos! I was interested and installed it with a single command. I later installed manaplus from the same place. I started the game and went up to level 9. A few months later I remembered the game, came back, and within 2 days have nearly reached level 40. Now I'm trying to complete as much of the game as I can so I can use my programming/development skills to help build the game. Cheers!

I was actually trying to download something else on synaptic and downloaded tmw instead. Then I thought, "What the heck, let's give it a shot!" And here I am now and will be for quite a long time.
