Some ideas I thought up

I was thinking about the assassin armor and I thought that maybe we could build new clans and villages for them to base in off that sort of thing
Example: We have a pirate hat so why not create a village of water for 'Pirates' to base in?
We also have the Assassin items and warlord items etc.
So I got thinking... why not make a ninja village?
They could closely face off against the assassin clan.
I'm currently working on ninja clothes.
Maybe they could give the invisibility ability to the wearer?
Maybe increase speed too.
And have a special skill of magic for them: ninjitsu (like on Naruto LOL)
Possibly becoming an assassin grants more one hit KO abilities.
And good skills with knives.
Well I made a small draft of the ninja helmet.
It needs major improvements as you can see

I'm thinking of making more ninja item rough sprites but thats it for now.
I also thought of a ninja amulet which could give the invisibility.
There could be maybe a dojo where you take part in ninja quests.

that ninja hedgear (with some work, of course) would go well with the assassin outfit, IMO....i don't know what the others think of it =)

Because this would require new tilesets, and tilesets don't create themself.

I thought about that and am already working on possible tilesets for the village

i like the idea,, but i think that requires too much work, but if someone wants to do it and have the ncessary free time.. it'd be great places to explore
suggestion to complement this idea: to enter the cities, you need to choose an alliance, assassins or ninjas, and if you enter in the city of your enemies, they can kill you, so it'd be like two teams in a war! =) cool

Assassins... versus Ninjas...
Sorry, but that's jumping waayy too far over the shark. For eAthena I wouldn't mind it, but the Terrible New Server of Doom, I'm hoping, will be a lot more serious.
But nobody wants to do this much work for eAthena... do they?

Yes, you are absoulutely right. Ninjas vs. Assassins, what a stupid idea.
Let's do Ninjas vs. Pirates instead!

Come on... people seem to treat Ninjas and assassins as cool dudes with awesome moves. Look them up on Wikipedia, and then decide how likely it is for a clan of each to face it off. SRSLY.

oh c'mon, ninja x assassin is just an idea, of course you can change these teams, but it'd be great to have two opponent teams =)

Great idea, but I was thinking more that there were many clans and in and around their villages it is pvp.
That way there could be a feature that if a ninja clan member entered the example pirate village an announcement would go off throughout the village saying: "ALERT! Ninja (my chars name is an example) Knetrin is in the grounds!"
Many teams in a war was my general idea, the current war is players onto monsters...
We need a player onto player war.
It would be fun unlike repeatedly stabbing the same monsters, that way skills and levels would really matter...
Currently I think leveling up is a bit of a waste, what prize do you get at the end?
The prize of acknowledging you are a high level?
What about the prize of acknowledging there is an opposite team and you have a good chance of killing them in a war.
The sides could maybe also have special abilities.
Maybe the abilities require a system to be on.
(This feature worked pretty well in other games)
I also had the idea of some object powering each clan, it is in the center of their village.
I thought maybe gems*.
If a player from an opposite team comes and touches the gem the special ability system switches off.
(*Doesn't have to be gems, may be something else)
Possibly there could be medals for achievements?
(examples:
Medal: How to get it:
Traitor Turn on your own team. (Possibly an npc could give you the opportunity to do so?)
Murderers Magic Kill 20 people from on opposite team
Breacher Get into the center of the opposite teams village and dis-power their gem*
etc.)

cool ideas you had, anoymous, but it just seem too complicated to pixel, and to develop everything.. but who knows, maybe they make us a surprise and release something like that! ;D
