Every submit is a good one!

Post by degen » 16 Sep 2005, 20:40

Tenche dont take it badly!

Every submit and every idea is a good idea, in every possible way there is.
It shows people what they might be missing to make something even better,
or what they are missing at the moment.

And yes a bad day is nothing i can help you with but go back to the sketches and keep on drawing more of your ideas (in every success there lies hundeds of failures tho we dont see em all when we are proudly looking at our new creation).

well what i am trying to say is, no matter if its needed or not it will bring inspiration to you and others by just showing it (even if its bad or make you embarased). i am no great artist (probably wont become one either) but still my ideas are great each adn everyone of them or so atleast i believe and by showing and speakign of them to others i might bring changes or inspire others thats also one way to contribute to projects like this.
And if you ask me i rather contribute a idea then nothing at all ;)

//berg (tho i still would have wanted to see that wallpaper)

I think the text's dropshadow should be to the lower-right.
But I don't agree with the extreme crits some other people gave.

I like this logo too. It has more energy to it. Although I think the green orb doesn't go well with the other green. But I like the idea of the glowing frame.

I really prefer the logo as we have it now. The color scheme makes it look as though it's a crest made of wood, or something similar, which fits with my conception of this game pretty well. The bright green, on the other hand, looks kind of like...neon? I know there's an area with technology planned, but most of the world seems to be pretty natural. And yeah, those two greens clash really badly.

Again I somewhat like the font, the white border is nice, but maybe too thick...

Yeah, thinner border and I think we have ourselves a new login (matches the website colour scheme nicely, doesn't it..?).

Sorry I don't like it. The font is kinda ok (though still I like our current more I think), but the logo is way worse with these bumb effects and color added in my opinion.

Why did you put it on the first page? Anyway...
I am liking the new text, and having looked a bit, I like the slightly darker background color (it's a bit less glaring than what we currently have). However, I still prefer the logo as we have it already; I just think it looks better with the white lines.

I guess we could have a random array of login screens to give variation to players. In that case the difference between the screens should be a bit more, though.
