well, sometimes even the "big ones" can make mistakes, but this one's especially funny: basically, blizzard managed to implement a disease "feature" that brought down whole servers

why not? diseases are an interesting feature. i played another mmorpg which had a disease feature, too. but the difference was that it was planned by the game designers and that you could make a quest to make yourself immune to it.
could be funny to have an infectious disease, too. but the players should of course be able to heal themself from it. would be interesting to watch how fast an epidemy gets around the server and if the players can manage to get rid of it.
