But the question is why?
1.) Patches is always online. He is always online. I log in at 9 am, he is there. I log in at 10pm, he is there. This means less time online without a gm. Patches is always willing to give advice, help, aid, and just have fun with you. He loves this game.
2.) He knows the game. Can list everything that is going on; stats, history, concepts, what is coming, what is going on, and what you need for what quest. He knows the botters, the spots, and the concepts behind them.
3.) He is honest and fair in the many, many, many dealings I have with him. I can not find one person that does not have a high opinion of patches. Not a one.
4.) He is willing to listen to you. There is no conversation to this. He will listen, you will try to understand your opinion.
5.) He is willing to make the game better, by working with you, not against you. By reducing botters, reducing the disconnect between community and admins. He will be for the community, because he IS part of of the community. Every day, every way.
We waited, dark water and I, to see which person did not change during this election process. Patches did not, he remained true to himself and the community that he is part of. We want to move patches from being part of the community, to the role of serving the community that he loves.
That is why I want him as GM.

I known this player well in game under many names and He really does love the game. He Is a sound reasonable choice. I think he knows what happens if you lean rules and create things for your friends. I know this player has lots of game time under his belt that's for sure and knows what makes a fair and honest GM. He has my Vote and I'm confident he will make a good junior GM and can move on to a full GM If the community would give him a chance
