[OBSOLETE][SVN] Water in caves

I've modified the current cave tiles to add water below the exploration level, and also to have pools that go all the way to the walls.
Also a few stones in water that are darker than the outdoor originals.

Nice work!

The cave tileset definitely needs some more possibilities. Some other tiles I would like to see:

-Wall tiles ending in darkness to create bottomless abysses
-Wall tiles with earth both on the bottom and on the top to create maps with multiple height layers (should already be possible for horizontal cliffs but not for vertical ones)
-Tiles to get from one height layer to another

Welcome aboard.

Creative and practical thinking are appreciated.

Thanks Crush and Rotonen for the welcome.

I've realised that this set isn't ready for use. It doesn't fit the collision map - there's half a walkable tile on all the vertical bits.
I'm reworking the walkable tiles, moving them half a tile sideways.

Reworked version. I haven't aggressively weeded out duplicate tiles, and know there are a few in there (does this need to be done?).

Can you try to make the cliff facing north less straight?

isn`t it better to skip the water layer under the walls and put it on its on place on the tileset?

Then the mappers can put the water tile on the Ground layer and the walls on the Fringe layer in tiled, it will make it alot easyer for os mappers to work whet

The more that goes on the ground layer, the better.

Now that we have unlimited layers per map there is no reason to do so.

Example image and collision overlay:

Two tilesets - one with walls that can have water or ground under them, one for ramps.

We're stuck with four layers until 0.0.24.1 is dropped, which from the looks of it will be end of October. I'd rather have the tileset useable asap (unless you think it'll take that long to get finished.

I don't know, I hate to be negative, but the black border looks odd, what's it supposed to represent?

Where do you see one?

octalot, if you have time, could you make the insides of the walls black, so we can use the lava tiles without stuff looking weird?

I meant the edge of the platform, where it goes from floor to the top of the wall, there's this big black border.
