[FND] Wine
[FND] Wine
Hey, I tried remaking the Wine item icon as I don't think it fits our graphic standards.
The one currently used was made by Jak1: Here is my attempt, waiting for your thoughts about it.
I used Reid's color palettes for the glass parts.

Re: [WIP] Wine
The icon was a rework of jak1's wine glass from me.
As for comments for that new version:
The foot and trunk use the same style than our dishes, I never much liked them to be honest.
The wine part miss some typical liquid highlights that I think was OKish on my version.
The palette used on my version is not the best one for the top part of the glass, but switching to a completly different palette is not a good idea IMO, glasses should have reflections.

Re: [WIP] Wine
I think it's a good improvement. Overall the quality is IMO better than Reid's/Jak1's glass.
Unlike Reid I do like the glass palette. The old palette made the glass look red, and well, they aren't. So I do think switching to a new palette is a good idea.
As for the wine part, I do agree it is missing something there. It doesn't feel like liquid to me, and the wine color seems off. If I had to guess I would say it was a tongue put inside a wine glass... I guess it is missing the dark shadows the wine liquid has?
The shape is okay. Since it is a red wine glass, the glass itself could be a bit bigger and bolder, more like the old glass. Now it feels more like a white wine glass to me (and yes there is a difference between them, see here).

I prefer Reid's liquid and Alige's glass

Re: [WIP] Wine
Here is a new version of my attempt. I improved the shape of the glass and the liquid's color (Reid's palette) & liquid feeling.
Re: [WIP] Wine
I like it

Re: [WIP] Wine
Well, thanks a lot guys, marking project as finished [FND].
I'll let Reid handle it now in case she sees any other possible improvements.
