There used to be a pretty awesome site called lgdb.org that was a database for games available on linux. I searched it for MMOs sometime back in 2013 (I think) and TMW was one of only a handful of results back then. Sadly that site has long since shut down :(

Maybe, but it still exists in Internet Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20131112002 ... e/manaplus

Oh man, wait, that link is the pretty one for Evol! But don't worry, TMW also had a page: https://web.archive.org/web/20130925101 ... mana_world

Internet Archive did a great job at archiving the Linux Gaming Database. Would be fun someday to leverage it and see how many of the games back then are still available for fun :) But definitely in off-topic

Nice, that brings back memories :)
Also, a lot more MMOs on that site (even back in 2012) than I recall. :o

"If you can get past the graphics the game is truly entertaining"

WTF

Anyway the page has a pretty good summary description of the game. I might steal it :P

Libre game wiki exists, perhaps it is the continuation of fgdb? https://libregamewiki.org/Massively_mul ... ying_games

Neat! The description for TMW's a bit outdated though.
