I didn't forget mapping, I just don't feel like I'm responsible for driving the pseudo content further. (Most pseudo content won't makeit into the finished world.)

But you're right, pseudo content does add to the playability and value of the game on the short term.

Rotonen, don't forget that more contend will attract more players. just look how the user numbers increased after the woodland and christmas map got released.

more players mean that the whole project will become more popular.

more popularity means more developers will join the project.

and more developers mean that the game will advance much faster.

i tried it out with two tmw clients and two differen characters. you are right. although it looks like you can walk through walls when removing the collision tiles in your map file, other players will only see you at your last legal position.

i wouldn't recommend to start with the woodland tileset. first it is a quite tricky tileset. the cave tileset for example is much easier to use. second the guide on the wiki is outdated because we got oversized tiles on the fringe layer, now.

I suggest you read the tutorial again, carefully. And if you're still experiencing troubles, feel free to contact tiled developers, ask in here, or jump into our irc channel where there will be for sure someone willing to help.
