Winner, just try to understand that in pixelart you're supposed to start small... That volcano is way out of your possibilities right now and it should be even BIGGER as suggested... just try to work on some small pieces of pixelart like inventory icons, rocks, etc. and try to improve your skills... jumping from one thing to another like now is pointless and it does you no good, really. Though it's tempting, I know

Seriously, listen to what people say if you want to get any further

(I mean like I, Len, Crush, Rotonen...and don't mind that pointless spam from Dark Lord... His comments are not helping at all and not just in your case.)

*Kage bangs head on desktop*
A. it doesn't fit into any existing tile set
B. it way to small for a player to be able to enter it
C. IT SUCKS
*Kage bangs head on desktop some more*
WinneR3... Listen....
Step 1. come up with *one* idea you really would like to do...
Step 2. Pixel it
Step 3. Post it on the forums
Step 4. Recive feed back
Step 5. If its not good enough: redo or fix the pixel art and go back to step 3
Step 6. ???
Step 7. PROFIT!!!!
Step 8. Go back to step 1

It's true. Starting a new project every time you get some negative feedback is totally the wrong way to go.

learning art is about taking criticism (from people who know what they are talking about) and revising your project.
revising
1 a : to look over again in order to correct or improve <revise a manuscript> b British : to study again : review
2 a : to make a new, amended, improved, or up-to-date version of <revise a dictionary

And you told me not to troll!
WinneR3, also think of the uses of your graphics (and I actually keep switching projects myself, I understand

).
A Demon Cave? Where are the Demons? What will be inside the cave?
1) There are no Demons
2) This won't fit against any existing tileset
3) There is no Demon Cave tileset
Think of a GREEAAAT idea. Like I'm talking GREEAAAT here. And when I say GREEAAAT, I mean great.
Got one? Good.
1) Will it fit with existing tilesets?
2) Is it big enough?
3) Is it small enough?
4) Does it suck?
(The answers to the above questions should be Yes, Yes, Yes and No respectively)
I've seen you do some good stuff, so don't give up hope

Are any of you people seriously considering granting him dev? meway has done some great work and he is still not dev. WinneR3, I am quite sure you will never be dev here. Sorry.

A dev is someone who is responsible for something to realize. A contributor is something else. You can also have a dev status if you are a person to whom people should turn to for advise.
People doing stuff to gain statuses instead of helping the project progress are here for all the wrong reasons and frankly I don't really care all that much for those people in any way.
All useful CR art contribution is still very much appreciated, regardless of the motives behind it.
