Hi Ali-G,

I've already updated the french translation. Yet, a review can't hurt, so the file is here:
http://gitorious.org/mana/mana/blobs/master/po/fr.po

You can try the latest french language using a nightlie (which is almost identical to the 0.5 release in term of translations.)
or the current 0.5 release:
Download link: http://manasource.org/downloads

Last but no least, please, PLEASE, do make use of poedit for translating (I'm even considering it as a pre-requisite):
http://www.poedit.net/
It's a free multi-os translation tool which will get the technical side of translating away from you.

Note: Don't forget there are (unbreakable) spaces before ? ! ; and : in french so don't remove them.
See: http://www.la-ponctuation.com/
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponctuation

Thanks for offering help and best regards.

There are a lot of words that were not translated correctly, where and how do I present the changes I would like to make (because the list is quite long...)?

Hi Ali-G,

Once you've changed a local copy, just zip it and upload it here. I'll be in charge of upgrading the file in the repository. Would there be a consensus to find on some words (like Matt did in the GTP German), you should feel free to open a [GTP] French so we can discuss that.
I know that ;) but thank you anyway for reminding me. I do pay attention to that when I wright in english or in french.
Then, you're a rare valuable. ;)

Thanks and best regards.

Hi Mpa4Hu,

Thanks in advance for any effort on this.

As I told everyone around, please make sure to use poedit to modify the po file.

Best regards.

poedit is really easy to use, I confirm. Moreover, you will gain time using that program.
We are waiting your translation.

in Accuracy case, i wright on translate window "% Точность" and then it gives en error

Code: Select all

21:15:27: D:\dev\ru.po:3042: 'msgstr' is not a valid C format string, unlike 'msgid'. Reason: The character that terminates the directive number 1 is not a valid conversion specifier.
21:15:27: msgfmt: found 1 fatal error

EDIT:

and one more

Error retreiving server list!
must be retrieving i think

EDIT2:

http://rapidshare.com/files/448964948/ru.po

Hi

Code: Select all

21:15:27: D:\dev\ru.po:3042: 'msgstr' is not a valid C format string, unlike 'msgid'. Reason: The character that terminates the directive number 1 is not a valid conversion specifier.
21:15:27: msgfmt: found 1 fatal error
--> The error here must come from the fact that a C format comment has been added before the msgid line.
Just remove it using a proper editor or let me do it, and it'll be fine. Same goes for any language translation, btw.
