I am just curious but how many of you liked the Rapid Attack Function?

Comments similar or in relative nature of this example comment outlined in blue will be completely ignored!

"Rapid Attack was a Bug" "The Game Is Better with out it" "It encourages a team atmosphere"

First, the poll is a bit biased in its wording of the options... can I not miss that particular bug without wanting TMW to be like any other game? A simple yes/no with discussion would suffice.

Secondly, why are these invalid opinions? They're just as valid as "rapid attack is fun."

Let's not hasten to judge, this rebalancing is not even complete yet. Patching rapid attack was only one step on this path. Gameplay will be definitely different, yes, we will have to adjust. The goal is more balance and improved gameplay, and I believe the GMs really intend to accomplish that goal. How you or I might feel about their particular methods is one thing, but don't doubt their intentions, and don't start casting stones until they have finished their work.

Now agility might actually have some use (so you can still have fast attack) and we might get a few diverse builds. (people might actually work as a team!!)<--"It encourages a team atmosphere" :P

I colored the parts you can just ignore in blue

Fixing the rapid attack bug was necessary to restore balance between melee fighters and ranged fighters. Don't you agree that archers were far overpowered?

Now melee fighters are a bit overpowered, but this can be fixed by reducing the attack of the scythe and short sword.

I wouldn’t say that yet, lets see what kind of builds players come up with …

I wouldn't say melee players are overpowered. Since the Archers make up for it in not getting hurt as much as people who have to be right there next to the monster.

That said, I am a warrior, and I have fought with an archer, the archer could get hurt 15 while I get hurt 200. Sure archers have to pay for arrows, but that is also a part of making up for not getting hurt nearly as much.

I love the bug being fixed, and I am not going to say why because that will just get ignored.

I can't answer this poll.
My characters were all melee fighters, so when they were able to get the scythe, of course they all used the attack bug. Without the attack bug it makes the game different, but still enjoyable... at least on initial impressions.

The beach and Mine Level 1 are now back to being challenging yet achievable, when going solo with my lvl 70 character.

I remember spending a long time in the lamp snake cave using a short sword (without the attack bug) getting a first pair of blue shorts jeans.

Nor do I think my melee characters are overpowered. I have had to balance across more attributes, and that inclusion of strength and agility is now more useful for gameplay for these characters.

Well I did like the rapid attack bug, but I would like the game to move forward and get all the bugs fixed.

We are playing the alpha version of the game, and I think that we should expect that the game will move on.

So I need more options, I liked the bug, but I am okay with the bug being fixed.

But yes it were lots of fun, so I votes yes.

I voted no, because I don't miss it now, but I did like it before, probably because I didn't fully understand it's consequences.

I voted yes. Although it was a bug, it added frenzy and fun to the game, which is now a bit slow. Anyway, I said NOW.
I hope the magic implementation will come soon, because the time resulting from the fixing of the bug in terms of gap between strikes should be a good point for casting magics! ^^

you will probably or maybe not notice a bug after level 70 in agility.
