A new red apple graphic. Original is GPL, from Slash'Em. I added some anti-aliasing and transparency, a few color mods. Needs a bit more work on the edges, but I'm having trouble smoothing them out.

using tools in gimp will lead to issues with anti aliasing later its best to remake this apple by hand using the minimum amount of colors IMO. this dose look like a nice apple though. I would like to see the actual original plz if you have a link.

Ok, here's the original. It's just a quick chop job, since i don't have access to the one I actually used. Also, here's the tilesheet I got it from. I converted both to PNG, since the original was bmp.
Edit: It won't let me post the tilesheet, is only ~330kb.

The link gives 403 forbidden.
By the way: I took a look at some screenshots of Slash'Em and the graphics seem to be pretty far under our quality standard. I don't think that you will find many graphics in there which are worth using.

OK, well, the basic release of slashem uses 16x16 tiles. I compiled mine with medium quality graphics, 32x32. Also, many of the new tiles are awful. Many of the original tiles though, with a little work, would probably be quite acceptable. Also, here's another link to try.
