If mages are so overpowered, why not have anti-magic armor? Of course, they'd have to have the same penalty to magic attack as any other armor...and they'd have to suck against physical defense (dress for the occasion you know you're going to). Perhaps...armor made from reeds tied together, inscribe...

Mages are overpowered, mayby add Cursed scroll activated by death. If owner of cursed scrol died of magic cause the scroll activates and curse goes to his killer. Curse should be random of followed: 1 level pernamently lowered by 1 (big curse) 2% chance multiple curse increase that chance 2 stats h...

Meh, what I liked about this game was the original parts. Things that were more or less unique to this game.
Though I can't disagree with considering adding the good parts of other games, I'm not so sure about this idea.
(although mages should be able to learn a revive spell to bring back others)

At lower levels, in both games the Fighter/warrior has an advantage, while a magic user would suffer the most, but was still useful enough to the party to keep around. I might have to agree about the stat reset. Although finding a party can be pretty tough, on the other hand. Anyway, for the quoted...

Forgive me if this has already been brought up before (I'm new here), but... I was reading some of the ideas on the wiki for this game's new direction, and...I wanted to warn the developers to keep in mind the feel of the game; some good parts that might be working just fine could get spoiled by cha...
