Re: [WIP] Fire temple
I've broken the set down to manage and map easier. Huge tileset is a pita when working in tiled. Btw, if you'd prefer to keep it as one huge tileset, I can try to make it easier to work with in Tiled. I'm currently thinking a "scratch panel" (see issue #3288 ) could make this easier, but ...

Re: (ManaVerse) General channel should highlight by default
Are you not afraid it will get pretty noisy sometimes? In any case, there should be a quick way to turn this on/off.

Re: [ManaVerse] Some questions
tmw.manaplus or tmw.manaverse ? (desktop shortcuts mostly, I don't know anyone who uses them though ─ but also affects commandline, so renaming breaks some compatibility) It should just be tmw.mana. There was no need to rename the extension in the first place. Keeping it on .mana makes it clear tha...

Re: Request: healing shortcuts
I'm open to changing the default key setup. In fact it annoys me as well and we need to consider the new players, who are all used to WASD for example (I try this myself all the time). For that we just need to figure out how to deal with various keyboard layouts, though. For the oldies who are someh...

Re: Renaming TMW Classic
For the record, since everybody knows my opinion anyway, I think it is not appropriate to call TMW either "legacy" or "classic" unless it had actually been superseded by something else that is now called "The Mana World". I understand that with projects like rEvolt and ...

Re: (ManaVerse) Removal of "Store all" option
Soon you can use the original client, if you do not like the addition of the "Store all" option.
(I've changed my vote to "not remove", since I don't think it makes sense to strip down ManaPlus to Mana level, since we should soon have Mana client playable again anyway)

Re: Set-up mirrored repos for source? [Dis]
I say no, because: * This will just add confusion about where the main development of the project happens. You don't want anybody to be looking at a mirror, because it will not show most of your activity (pull requests, bug reports, forks, etc.). * Most of the mentioned services have their own issue...

Re: RFC: Warps using tiles instead of pixels. (includes patc
The values are in pixels because manaserv is dealing with pixels, since this is the warp format understood by manaserv and only later was the converter written to make warps defined in Tiled work with tmwAthena as well. Of course, I have no problem with adding an additional pair of properties for ti...

Re: User Groups
History aside, the Mana project is relevant for TMW since it provides a client with which you can play the game (which is officially supported and still maintained, btw). You can't compare this with Evol Online or Land of Fire, both of which are simply projects similar to TMW. Apart from that the Ma...

Re: Dear TMW Community.
You left TMW five years ago and you made a different client and server project. You never was considering to build any community - this is what we argued about, you left it in my hands and left. Now you pop in after five years to "manage" the community you didn't even wanted to created. I...

Re: Dear TMW Community.
I was a content developer myself, so you are wrong that I never did any work. Yet still this was my account where tmwserver ran, and rules of Platinum says clearly - a user is the owner of account and all the files he generates. So the owner of LoF is Pihro as it is his account. No point in spreadi...

Re: Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Unfortunately, I don't believe I have enough spare time to make it worth purchasing this rather expensive add-on.
If it was 5 euro, I'd buy it and never get around to play it. But at least I wouldn't need to feel bad about it. Still got quite a few of such games lying around waiting to be played...

Re: Dear TMW Community.
Dear blackrazor, You are obviously completely right that the player data is not covered by the GPL (good heavens!). However, you are wrong in your conclusion that it thus must be owned by Platyna. When Platyna took over the hosting of the TMW server from Ultramichy, there was indeed no written agree...

Re: Dear TMW Community.
Platyna, I agreed with the move as did ElvenProgrammer (who had to change the DNS settings). However, I'm sure neither of us knows much about what's going on in this community these days. If you only just found out, then I can only conclude the same counts for you. I do not endorse the direction thi...

The Liberated Pixel Cup and what we could do with it
The Liberated Pixel Cup is a two-phase competition that starts with a one-month period (June) where artists can submit pixel art, after which follows another one-month period (July) in which games can be developed that make use of the art that became available in the first phase. There will be winne...
