Re: Music
Hey guys, sorry about links, I removed content before getting back to work on this, I only put up versions for feedback before taking them down and going back to work on them once I get feedback... pajerico, thanks for your comments and taking the time to look at my myspace music site. :P I removed ...

Re: Ambient tune
Production wise, this might be MIDI sourced, but the post bounce-down audio effects have been done very tastefully... The composition is tight and focused, well layered and strong on sound selection... in all fairness, I think music like this is much more fitting to the graphical style of TMW. It's ...

Re: Music
Hello again, Yep, I think you're right about the part at 1:26... that was my main worry about it... My initial aim behind a new section was to introduce some variety. I wouldn't say it's overtly introspective, but it does certainly takes on a darker tone... Ok... I'll remove that entire section, bri...

Re: Music
A second version... starts the same, develops into something a little different before setting itself up to loop (this should loop better... but not perfect as I faded out across the last few samples of the file, afraid that the loop would not be smooth, but I think it's disjointed it if anything. :...

Re: Music
Thanks for your kind words everyone! :) Crush &GonzoDark - this should loop nicely when done. I didn't really make it loopable because it's a little far from done. The decay of the trombones suddenly cuts if you try to loop it lol i - Thanks again. I'm honoured to be even mentioned in the same s...

Re: Sound and music repositories: Musopen, PDsounds...
Ok... Well... I have something I started last night... see what you think... it's a bit ploddy, the mix do do with some attention, the cellos sounds a little bit heavy at the minute and there's almost no percussion (lol, I'm making a good case for myself here) but given some EQ across a few instrum...

Re: Music
Nice :) I'll start work on something this week - it won't be a long track (initially) as this way, if you're not liking it much, it's easier to change, and I won't feel so bummed at having run off developing unwanted concepts lol I'm working full time, but am trying to clear more and more time bit b...

Hey there guys, I can see you have had a pretty good level of interest in this so far... I am very interested in this project having grown up with many games of this ilk during that golden 16-bit era :D Strangely, I haven't had the focus to nail my music in that vein stylistically - this would be a ...
