Re: Lotus Village
Thematically, it's a nice, but the main percussion could use some re-working in my opinon; some more variety and maybe a bit more on the side of natural. This could be achieved through the sounds themselves or just performing them 'live'. Check out the Korean Village track from the Atlantica Online ...

Re: Geneva
When I've done tracks before, I've found that the looping behaviour of a track should be one of the last tasks on the priority list when composing; it's more crucial to focus on the style, composition and production, making sure it's all ok before committing yourself to what is quite fiddly work in ...

Re: hurnscald music
Has it always been so? I can have a look at reworking it (if it's the same music I think it is...?)

Re: In My Heart
...Listening to your music closer, I can imagine it being used in a rainy, vast, lawless, outdoor environment a place one might encounter en route to a far off destination. It is a genuine adventuring theme. Then again, it has some sense of interlude and narrative... I agree. A very nice piece with...

Re: Bow Sound
I agree, the ear lends a lot of credibility to sounds which are not realistic. What is really important is that it comes together to create a tight feel is a good sound-to-visual match. I have brought up the matter of sound FX mapping in another thread. At the moment, the suggestion for various acti...

Re: Bow Sound
Is the animation a pull and release? If there's a little breakdown of the timings for when it's pulled and released, I could try to do something.

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Attaching the latest version of the Reaper battle music... a few sections that need changing. At the moment, I still need to address the abrupt change at around 35secs and again at 47secs (thinking about taking this 10second section out completely) but this will at least give you a better feel for ...

Think the opening's fine also, but personally sounds like the levels of the bells could still come down. They might seem low on the dB counter, but their frequency range seems to be at the point where the human ear perceives it as louder than it technically is. If you pull it back 4-6dB, you'll prob...

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Hey sorry, I have seen this, just not had the time to get back on it yet. Am pretty backed up with a few other jobs at the moment.
Should be a straightforward thing to get this sounding more 'cutty-cutty' less 'swishy whooshy'

Sure; have attached these now as a ZIP.
More painful sounding ones could perhaps respond to attacks inflicting damage above a certain value maybe, but then again - I have no idea what the sound behaviour / scripting allows

Re: Sound Projects...
Hey man, I posted a couple of FX in the Reaper Quest FX thread. Just wondering what the movement on it is and also about the Brain Eater FX that were being handled in the same thread...? Know you're busy with school and that, just thought I'd mention it in case it had slipped under the radar.
