Re: On Snitches and a Declaration of Player War
AMEN to that ^_^ In fact since the hurnscald mines are a thief-hideout, making it pvp-able area fits in seamlessly with the storyline!!!! I know I would definitely be spending more time in there when pvp is on :p Same here. Pickpocket never would have been a required part of the game's evolution. :...

Re: A compromise perhaps?
I tried the other server and got killed twice, for money, one of those times I was lvl 1, just for the hell of it, and I didn't go back. That's exactly how my experience went when joining that game with a fresh identity. I think the people running TMW know it would be a nightmare, so I wouldn't cou...

Re: Guilty pleasure
Wesley Willis... I earned a flurry of head butts from him at a show a few months before he died. edit. Now that I see we are linking videos, I present this man's work in all it's glory: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=MOZgQHbj7wo Note how he's just using the arpeggiator and pre-programmed stuff on his...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
Sorry, I don't really know DeathKnight all that well. If you've annoyed him, you've done so by being annoying. I also don't see myself accusing you of anything in this thread. Can you keep your little grudge in the game or in the threads you've already started about me? I don't see what you think yo...

Re: A compromise perhaps?
Eh, I think if anyone wants some kind of "war", it's a few people in HMC who are so strung out about ninja looting, they are going to carry on like children for weeks on IRC, in the game, and on the forums even after the server has been patched. Then have the gall to think I am being provo...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
 Still trolling I see  You could also take a moment to read the links you so proudly posted in regards to the meaning of a troll. Seriously, Dave, I would be willing to bet some of the more mature people in your little group die a little inside when they see you hopping from thread to thr...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
Those screenshots are old, the money we had has almost all been sink safe for a small amount. As for the items, we give them out to the community on a very regular basis. Members can get them trough our perk-point system and even non-members can win them from our events. But be that as it may, this...

Re: Pickpocket expressing his love for the HMC
Why can't we all get on, and stop this bitterness. Pickpocket : if you are being antagonistic in any way, please stop it. So there was no "being antagonistic" when Dave was tailing my character for days trying to provoke me into saying something worthy of a thread? It's funny how things w...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
In response to Tarax's greasy finger pointing at me, I don't see how two people who showed up after the casino exploit was patched could possibly be responsible for the current condition of the economy. If concerned with hoarding, I cite: http://holymanaclan.webs.com/donations.htm Now go bother them...

Re: Pickpocket expressing his love for the HMC
Those were some gigantic paragraphs, but no, again: This is a game. I don't go breaking into people's houses in real life. I shoot people in Quake, too, but that doesn't mean I run around with a shotgun in real life, nor have any real desire to do so. The whine I am speaking of pertains to how long ...

Re: Pickpocket expressing his love for the HMC
Stop feeding these trolls! Can we finally put the name calling to a rest? Yes I have screen shots I sent them to Steve. sugar This many days later I would only begin to suspect someone set up a copy of eathena and started manufacturing whatever screen shots they like. Especially with Dave's charact...

Re: Pickpocket expressing his love for the HMC
Because they remember how hard it was back then and how they almost quit the game. Not really. It was a challenge and kinda fun. There isn't an MMORPG on the planet that is really 'hard', they tend to be designed to give a sense of accomplishment after killing a lot of bugs, monsters, etc with the ...
