Re: TMW turns 20 on April 11th!
I'm still around and trying to wrangle things into a saner state. thorbjorn has recently been quite active in getting the client back up to speed. Slicer drops by from time to time. Haven't seen Kage, Jax, or remo in a long time. I miss your random doodles and gloriously irreverent humor throughout...

Re: TMW turns 20 on April 11th!
Dang it, I missed the 20th. #sad 😒 Please tell me that Matt (Bavaria's Best Troll) pops on the forums now and again, Freeyorp101 still checks in to lore master the dev history, and that things haven't dEvolved into a trick bag of questionably licensed assets and horrifically over saturated color pal...

Re: [FOTHER J]-Missing in action
Surely this wasn't 4 years ago... surely. Maybe I'm back because I shaved of my mohawk a few months ago? Society thinks ill of a 30yr old user experience developer with aspergers and a mohawk driving home with a blown headlight in the wee hours of the morning... so I shaved it a few months ago. If M...

Re: subliminal message on Map 057-1
There is nothing wrong with signatures in content as long as it is invisible to the normal player. I added invisible watermarks to a lot of my graphics - mostly in case authorship needs to be proven in a copyright dispute. Oh my dear Crush, c'mon that's not a best practice. :) Others come to contri...

Re: subliminal message on Map 057-1
These sort of things belong in the license file. To imagine if I had all the zombies, skeletons, squirrels, spiders, snails, log heads, bees, and crabrabbits running around saying "Fother J, Fother J!" unacceptable.

Re: Map Size
This thread from Wesnoth may be relevant, or perhaps just entertaining: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19145 We don't have the same degree. Indeed... Considering we have big buildings with small interiors, and tiny shacks with multi tiered pointlessly massive floors in them, rela...

Re: TMW Road Trip
Events like these are how we can attract a lot of curious folks to help build this little dream of ours. I applaud this kind of involvement, we really need to coordinate booths like this in our areas as well. As you're gathering your resources, please post lots of photos sir!

Re: Future pets support
Nice! I had been digging around upstream eAthena's pet support recently (and the Peco Peco mounts, and the homun), and let out a sigh because a lot of it is UI triggered, and I doubt I'd have the effort to go messing around with it.

Re: Is Manaworld dead or dying slowly?
2008 was definitly the best year :alt-3: Indeed! It all went to crap when the isthmus was removed. Tulimshar always sucked... it was everyone's goal to get the hell out of there and off to greener pastures, but still come back to the desert to kill snakes and level because not much else was going o...
